"I trust Ken with my daughter. I trust Ken with my horses. For those of us who have been around this industry, these are probably the two most powerful statements affirming a trainer's value. Ken is a true horseman who is always watching, always evaluating and always willing to do the right thing to get the job done."              Christy Anderson

Meet Ken

CHA Certified, AQHA Professional Horseman

Many wet saddle pads and miles of riding later, Ken focuses on helping the rider communicate better with his/her horse.

"I do have many awards, but the greatest accomplishment is when I see someone better understand his horse and that leads to just a happier team," Ken observed.

Ken uses a natural horseman approach because common sense wins over pressuring a horse to perform.

With over 30 years of experience, he is a Certified Horsemanship Assoc (CHA) Master instructor and Regional director. In addition, Ken is an AQHA and NRHA Professional Horseman.

Ken has taught every level rider, including serving as the coach for the University of Central Florida Western Team.

He has trained with Ed Rennia and Dennis Reis who contributed a great deal to his teaching and training approach.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Alyse & Jacob Drewry

Ken has a wonderful personality and it is very refreshing to have a professional that doesn't make you feel silly for asking questions. He is a wonderful teacher and is highly recommended to anyone looking to further their horsemanship skills to any level and/or looking for a professional horse trainer.

Patty Davis

I have worked with several barns before finding Ken. He has been training my young horse and me for two years. He listened to my goals, was honest with his assessment and is the way to achieving everything that I have asked.

I think the most important quality that Ken has is his flexibility and his sincere desire to  meet the expectations of the horse owner and rider.

Most importantly, we have a lot of fun!

Susan Hedgcock, Ed.D.

I have known Ken for many years and I find his level of professionalism with his clients and horses way beyond what we have encountered in this industry.

His program reflects his commitment to provide the best care and training for his horses.
